Illuminate Art Walk Sip n’ Stroll Tour

Experience downtown Raleigh aglow with large-scale, interactive light installations on the Illuminate Art Walk—a one-mile route stretching along Fayetteville Street, filled with vivid sculptures, sound-based artwork, and returning favorites like Trish the Triceratops. This year features new additions including Trumpet Flowers by Amigo & Amigo, brought to life by Wireframe Public Art, offering a playful, immersive world inspired by vintage gramophones. The tour lasts approximately one hour, traveling from one end of Fayetteville St. to the other. Feel free to arrive early for a Sip n’ Stroll beverage from a participating business—though drinks are optional and not required.

Tours will operate on a pay-what-you-want basis (cash or Venmo). Advance registration is required, and each tour must meet a minimum number of participants to run. You’ll receive a confirmation or cancellation email no later than 24 hours prior—please make sure to check your inbox.

This is a fresh route featuring mostly new artwork, even among recurring pieces from previous years. There will be no scheduled drink or restroom stops, so come prepared—and arrive on time, as the group moves promptly after departure.
