In the Moment: Cultural Activities for the Memory Community

Join us for an interactive pilot program designed for the Memory Community, offering an engaging exploration of spring through art, history, and science. Participants will spend time socializing, discussing art, and discovering North Carolina through hands-on, sensory-rich experiences.

In the Moment is a recurring program for individuals living with memory changes and their care partners. It encourages meaningful engagement across a wide range of topics, from the arts to the natural world, while supporting expression, connection, and curiosity in a welcoming environment. Each session draws on resources from leading cultural institutions across North Carolina.

Hosted at the NCMA and supported by partners within the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, including the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, North Carolina Museum of History, and North Carolina Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
