Rowena Federico Finn - “Inventing a Homeland" is inspired by my experiences as the daughter of immigrants and the mother of mixed-heritage children. The exhibition weaves together two central themes: Filipina-Futurism—a speculative reimagining of the Philippines without colonization—and my personal journey of creating new traditions and heirlooms for those piecing together their identities from different histories.”
