About
Jet, formed in 2001 in Melbourne, quickly became a global force. Their debut Get Born went nearly 10× Platinum in Australia and Platinum in the US and UK, powered by hits like “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, “Rollover DJ”, and “Look What You’ve Done.” The band earned six ARIA Awards in 2004, while “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Cold Hard Bitch” both hit No. 1 on the US Modern Rock chart.
Their 2006 follow‑up Shine On delivered more melodic rock standouts—“Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is,” “Bring It On Back,” “Rip It Up”—and went Platinum in Australia, supported by major global tours and a standout Big Day Out run.
In 2023, Jet celebrated 20 years of Get Born with their first shows in five years, performing the album in full. They were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame that same year.
The momentum continued into 2025 with US tours, dates with Lenny Kravitz, and major European festivals. In 2026, Jet launches a massive Australian regional tour and returns to Europe in July and the US in September, with more announcements ahead as they continue their worldwide resurgence.
