About
Ivan and I have sustained an artistic dialogue for over 20 years, ever since he studied at the Boston Museum School and I at RISD in the early 2000s.We both share a fascination with the limitless possibilities within painting, while fully indebted to its great history. Instances of absurdist humor and unusual juxtapositions in our work perhaps reveal bewilderment in the face of such awe. Yet we strive to engage with and contribute to this history, especially in regards to painting maintaining a place of contemplation within our multipolar age. Medium: Painting/mixed media
