About

One of the busiest bands in bluegrass, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers (JMRR) deliver first class entertainment, whether on stage or in the studio. For over a decade, JMRR have consistently delivered chart-topping and crowd-pleasing music, as evidenced by multiple International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) awards and Grand Ole Opry appearances on their resume. Last year, the award-winning band released their sixth album in seven years for bluegrass music’s most historic record label, Rebel Records. Entitled The Story We Tell, it brings together a vibrant collection of songs new and old, celebrating the band’s respect for the past while always maintaining a fresh approach. No matter the source, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers always put their distinctive stamp on a song, making it at once their own and a part of the chain of tradition that lies at the heart of bluegrass. Fans across the continent and Europe have experienced their energetic performances at esteemed concert productions including the National Folk Festival, Bluegrass Underground, Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman, and the Grand Ole Opry. Mullins is also the IBMA's 2016 Broadcaster of the Year, recognized for a respected radio career spanning over 30 years and rooted in the Midwest. He also hosts "Front Porch Fellowship," a weekly syndicated radio program broadcast over 200 stations in 30 states and Canada, and enjoyed by thousands of Internet listeners. Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers are: Joe Mullins (banjo, vocals), Mike Terry (mandolin, vocals), Jason Barie (fiddle), Duane Sparks (guitar, vocals), and Randy Barnes (bass, bass vocals).
