In this class we will experiment with layering watercolor, acrylics, collage, and various forms of mark-making to make interesting and exciting backgrounds for our art to rest on. We can either start with some imagery in mind so you can be more intentional about what colors are chosen and where you might want extra texture, or just let the creative process flow and discover what imagery calls to you after your background is completed! We will finish by putting images on the backgrounds we created for a completed piece to bring home. All supplies included. 4 sessions.
