Life at the Waters Edge

The pond at the Park is an excellent example of the holistic design that makes our Park great. Join Downtown Cary Park horticulturist and Emmy-award winning naturalist Dr. Patrick McMillan for an introduction to the fantastic plants and amazing wildlife that call our pond home and learn how the management here promotes a healthy ecosystem and a healthy experience for the visitor.

This class takes place outdoors and includes walking, so participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring water.
