About
Matt Braunger is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer known for his energetic stage presence and wide-ranging career in television and live comedy. Raised in Portland, Oregon, he trained in theater in New York and improvisation in Chicago before becoming a nationally touring headliner.
He has appeared in numerous television series including MADtv (as a series regular), Agent Carter, Up All Night, Disjointed, Upload, Superstore, BoJack Horseman, and many more across network, streaming, and cable. In stand-up, Braunger was named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” and Comedy Central’s “Hot 9 in ’09,” and has released several specials including Shovel Fighter, Big Dumb Animal, Finally Live in Portland, and Doug. He has also performed at major festivals such as Just For Laughs and Moontower.
