Slow art is a growing movement to mindfully observe and communally appreciate art. This interactive program guides you through centering techniques followed by intentional observations of Three Graces: Les Trois Femmes Noires by Mickalene Thomas and the ancient Roman Statue of Aphrodite Anadyomene (Cyrene Type). Sharing and discussion are encouraged. This is a great practice to calm the mind and experience art in a deeper way. Space is limited. For ages 16 and up.
