Get ready for an NC State LIVE fan favorite! With his hypnotic drumming and captivating personality, Pedrito Martínez is one of those special artists who our audiences ask for time and time again. Martínez was born in Havana, Cuba in 1973 in the Cayo Hueso neighborhood where rumba is played all day long, and began his musical career at the age of 11, with a foundation in the rumba and Afro Cuban Yoruba traditions.
