Free monthly Open Mic Poetry, Prose, and Spoken Word every Third Wednesday Evening at Tap Yard Raleigh hosted by Freshly Brewed Poems.
Find us in the Tavern Room. We will begin with 3 poems or 5 minutes of prose or Spoken Word. If there’s time we might enjoy a second round. Acoustic music is possible, and we have a piano. Bring us your books and merchandise to sell, tell about upcoming gigs and events you are involved with or wish to share.
Freshly Brewed Poems is a safe nurturing environment for both seasoned and newly formed poets, spoken word artists, and writers of every kind. Original work is encouraged, not required. There is no obligation to read, friends and listeners are welcome. Tell us what you need to be more comfortable in your experience.
Tap Yard is a full-service bar with Food Trucks but no on-site kitchen.
