The theme of the 2023 outdoor film season is Esse Quam Videri, “To be rather than to seem,” the NC state motto that’s actually sculpted into the architecture of the Park Theater. This summer’s selection of movies highlights stories of being and showcases how artists authentically walk in or explore that concept.
