Oxford American magazine, Yep Roc Records and Bob Nocek Presents are proud to welcome the Oxford American's 2018 North Carolina Music Issue Celebration on Mon., Nov. 26, 2018 at Fletcher Opera Theater in Raleigh, N.C. Featuring a diverse group of beloved N.C. musicians co-curated by Raleigh-based songwriter Tift Merritt, this special Statewide Singing Circle will showcase intimate collaborations between artists who call N.C. home coming together for a unique once-in-a-lifetime show.
Featured artists at the Raleigh concert will include co-curator Tift Merritt, along with Shirlette Ammons, Chatham County Line, Phil Cook, Alice Gerrard, Big Ron Hunter, ASM (Alexandra Sauser-Monnig of Mountain Man), Chris Stamey and other surprise guests.
VIP ticket holders will also be invited to a special reception from 5:30-7pm at the North Carolina Executive Mansion with readings and music.
The event is made possible with the support of co-presenting sponsors N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources and N.C. Humanities Council. Additional major partners include N.C.
