Jay Derrell is a hometown standup comedian, from Clayton, NC, a 10-year Army Military Veteran, who served 17 years as a police officer and became known as the Comedy Cop in the Raleigh Durham area and a graduate of NC Wesleyan University. Currently, Jay Derrell works as a full-time Comedian and Podcast host of Failure to Stop "Uncuffed" Podcast, and owner/founder of Daisy Pearl Productions LLC. Jay Derrell has opened for top national headlining comedians such as The King of Comedy DL Hughley and Arnez J, Darryl 'DMillitant" Littleton, Donnell Rawlings, Reginald Ballard, Comedienne Sommore, Lunell and Heather Land, R & B Singer Eric Benet, Funk Master George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and many more.
