Rug Tufting Workshop

Tufting is a fascinating process used to create all kinds of custom rugs. In this workshop you’ll get to work with Christian Davis, a tufting artist and local creative who will help you bring your own design to life. During this experience participants will learn how to use a tufting gun and frame, and with all materials provided, will themselves create a 24″ diameter rug that they can leave to cure and then pick up to take home with them. Designs will be pre-approved by Christian to make sure they will come out looking great and that they are feasible within the workshop time-frame.

This workshop will be taking place at The Burrow, Raleigh’s newest vendor market & creative space. It’s less than a block from Moore Square in Downtown Raleigh and is a burgeoning hub of local artisans and entrepreneurs. Feel free to arrive early or stay late for this workshop to see some of the amazing things Raleigh artists are making!
