We will be hiking Umstead State Park's Reedy Creek and Loblolly Trail Loop. The loop is pretty up and down and moderately challenging. Since this is an after work hike, we will not be stopping in the middle and instead going straight through!
Important details:
🥾 Distance: 4 miles (loop, 377ft elevation) Moderate difficulty
🌧 Rain or shine – the hike will happen regardless of weather
👥 Capped at 50 participants
🚫 No unregistered guests allowed – everyone must sign up individually
🐾 Dogs are encouraged – just make sure they’re leashed and trail-ready!
👶 Kids are welcome, but please be aware:
• This is a moderately challenging hike with some elevation.
• Conversation on the trail may include mature or queer-specific topics.
