Seminar 4: Pre-July 4th Special - Fireworks Law and Open Burning in NC

This fireworks and fire safety class covers North Carolina fireworks laws, Raleigh fire ordinances, and best practices for preventing fires and injuries during celebrations. Participants will learn which consumer fireworks are legal, recent age requirement updates, penalties for illegal use, and how to safely discharge fireworks in appropriate outdoor areas.

The class also reviews outdoor fire regulations, safe extinguishing procedures, and the importance of keeping water or tools nearby in case conditions change. Attendees will learn what to do if a fire spreads, when to call 911, and how to report illegal fireworks activity to the Raleigh Fire Department.
