Seminar 5: Safe Spaces for Kids and Families - What Is Free This Summer

This community resources class highlights free and low-cost summer programs, recreation opportunities, and support services available throughout Raleigh. Participants will learn about RPO Hoops Nights, community center activities, library programs, aquatics resources, parks and festivals, and programs designed for children, families, and older adults.

The class also covers food access programs, mental health resources, safe places to play and gather, and how to report unsafe conditions in parks and neighborhoods. Designed to connect residents with local services, the program encourages healthy, active, and connected communities throughout the summer.
