About
Join us and Blossom Betty’s for an in-person sensory journey inspired by flowers. For this Art in Bloom edition, we explore a floral arrangement through the engagement of the senses. This event is designed to provide an opportunity to learn for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD).
Registration includes a drink, snack, and other sensory objects to help deepen the connection to the floral arrangement. Audio description, ASL interpretation, and captioning are provided. Please note: if these accommodations are not requested at the time of registration, they will not be present during the program.
Please register only the participant so that we can have as many individuals with an IDD participate as possible. Parent(s)/companions do not need to register and are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Blossom Betty’s Floral Design Co. has a floral installation in Art in Bloom, which participants will see during the program. Please note that to see all Art in Bloom installations, you must purchase a separate ticket. Parking will be crowded; arrive early to allow time for parking and walking to East Building.
