Spring Works features Maria Konrad’s new Bonjour le Monde!, contemporary works by Krista King Doherty and Heather Iler and George Balanchine’s classical Serenade accompanied by Triangle Music Philharmonic. This impressive production has something for everyone!
The children’s ballet Bonjour le Monde is a world premiere that has many unique French inspirations. There will be Chanel, Givenchy, and Saint Laurent Shoppers from the fashion scene of Paris. There is a Picture Frame piece set with dancers moving in and around individual frames. Oversized Renoir Flowers that capture the beauty of French paintings. Young French mimes encasing Le Rose. The main character, Ellie, and her friends dance with a balloon man that has captured their attention. The French music score includes famous singers from the past and present. Bonjour le Monde will be a stimulating and entertaining experience for all ages.

Mix and mingle with the world renowned ballerina and muse of George Balanchine, Suzanne Farrell and award winning master contemporary teacher and choreographer of the world premiere Bonjour le Monde, Maria Konrad.
