Surface & Finish: Glazing Basics

The fourth class in the Throwing Basics series, this session introduces glazing as the final step in finishing your work. You’ll learn basic glaze theory, application methods, and how to make surface choices that support form and function. We’ll cover dipping, pouring, and brushing, along with common glazing mistakes. Students must bring bisque-fired pieces ready to glaze. Glaze firing is included for work completed in class.
