The Chanukah House Party

Chanukkah’s never been just one thing. It’s warmth and wonder. It’s miracles and music. It’s latkes sizzling in the pan and Jews gathering wherever the light pulls us, reminding us of G-ds infinite blessing. This year, CYP Raleigh + Jewish Federation’s New Young Adult Division are taking the celebration home—to our very own downtown house-party at The Shul Downtown, with 4 floors of curated Chanukah energy.

Think: latke chefs, Menorah-lighting moments, a rooftop lined with fresh donuts and winter comfort bites, DJ beats that (literally) spin, and cozy corners full of schmoozing, drinks, desserts, games, and fine young Jews.

Latke Lounge - Ease into the night with a welcome drink, board games, acoustic tunes, comfy seating, and a photo booth. Later: the official Dreidel Competition.

Nes Gadol Terrace - A full latke bar with all the toppings, on-site latke-making, fresh donuts + desserts, s’mores — all with that crisp rooftop air.

The Nosh Nook - Candle lighting throughout the night, plenty of your favorite comfort foods, drinks, and games. A great space to mingle, recharge, and take in meaningful Chanukkah moments.

The Dreidel Den - Our high-energy zone with a live DJ spinning you favorite Jewish tunes. Craft cocktails, wine, beer, and plenty of space to vibe as the night ramps up.
