The Hip Hop IS Higher Ed symposium illustrates for people (with academic sessions, art, performance, and community dialogue) that hip-hop culture has gained a positionality that has proximity to power. Furthermore, with this power, there is "promise", hope, and access to success.
It will be two full days of amazing #community dialogue, academic inquiry, scholarly works being presented, beat making workshops, lyrical analysis, economic development conversations and socio-cultural exploration! There are a variety of ways for you to be involved!
