The Friends of The City of Raleigh Museum will host their annual Time Warp fundraising gala in downtown Raleigh. Dress in your favorite retro gear and boogie down to classic rock-and-roll music, eat excellent food from local vendors and enjoy great craft beer, wine and signature cocktails. There will be costume and dance contests along with a silent auction of incredible prizes, including a curated selection of local artists’ creations. Rumor is there might even be games and movies too! It’s guaranteed to be a great time for people of all ages, and proceeds benefit museum exhibitions and educational programs.
Tickets include an open bar and a one-year membership to the Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum, a 501c(3) organization that supports the City of Raleigh Museum through fundraising and other initiatives. Members enjoy advance previews and admission to special openings and programs at the Museum, discounts at the Museum store and venue rental deals, as well as benefits at hundreds of other history museums throughout the country.
Museum exhibits, including the popular You Really Stuck It to Me Today: The Political Cartoons of Dwane Powell, will be open that evening for viewing by gala guests.
