Valentine Murder Mystery Dinner

Spend Valentine’s Day solving a crime with your loved one over a romantic Italian-themed four-course dinner. On Saturday, February 14, 7–9 PM, Red Bird hosts an interactive murder mystery experience presented by the Charlotte Murder Mystery Company, featuring live actors, a detective, and a story filled with art, scandal, and secrets. 

The evening unfolds at a high-stakes art gallery preview hosted by impressionist painter Pete Casso, whose career is threatened by notorious art critic Libby Labelle, known for her ruthless reviews and long list of enemies. When Libby suddenly collapses before the night ends, guests are drawn into a suspenseful investigation.

With six suspects, plenty of motives, and twists throughout the night, you’ll interrogate characters, follow the clues, and work together to uncover the truth, all while enjoying an elevated dining experience. Make it a Valentine’s celebration you’ll never forget.

First Course - Charred Caesar Salad: Shaved parmesan, charred romaine, house-made Caesar dressing, crostini. Vegan/GF option: Mixed greens with tomato, red onion, and balsamic dressing

Second Course - Beef Carpaccio: Thinly sliced tenderloin, walnut emulsion, crispy capers, micro beet greens. Vegan option: Beet Carpaccio with toasted walnuts, maple syrup, crispy capers, and micro beet greens

Third Course - Grilled Prawns: Head-on prawns grilled with garlic and lemon, served over tagliatelle in white wine olive oil sauce. Vegan option: Pasta Primavera with mushrooms, eggplant, roasted peppers, and extra virgin olive oil
