About

Jennifer Van Meter, a Maryland native and seasoned roots rocker, has spent over twenty years writing and performing a diverse catalog of songs influenced by artists from Lucinda Williams to Strand of Oaks. Her band, featuring veteran Raleigh musicians Bruce Clark, Larry Woodard, and Braxton Lindsay, creates a sound reminiscent of Tom Petty and the Pretenders. She has performed at festivals and venues across the country and shared the stage with artists such as The Lone Bellow, Kasey Chambers, and Robyn Hitchcock, with her song “Roadside Flower” featured by American Songwriter.

Raleigh-based Jack the Radio blends rock, blues, Americana, folk, and country to create swampy southern-tinged sounds on their latest album, Creatures. Led by singer and songwriter George Hage, the band has performed alongside The Avett Brothers, George Thorogood, and Cold War Kids, and their music has been featured in numerous films, TV shows, and sports programming.
