Wake Audubon monthly program; second Tuesday of every month. Hear from environmental education and conservation experts on an array of topics from local to global throughout the year: creating your wildlife-friendly yard, backyard bird feeding, butterfly monitoring, bat facts, Wake County nature preserves, NC alligators, re-establishing peregrine falcons in the U.S., birding in Trinidad and Spain and more. Come enjoy topics of interest to you. Programs are free and open to the public. We look forward to meeting you.
Program begins at 7:30pm. Please arrive between 7:10 and 7:35pm. to gain entrance. (Note: Our August program is a potluck and member slide-show that begins earlier, at 6:30pm.; please arrive between 6:10 and 6:35pm.) Enter via main doors to the right of the Daily Planet Globe and proceed to the fourth floor Environmental Conference Center. (Note: this is after hours, and the rest of the museum is closed during our meeting.) On-street parking is free in the evening.
