Let's Explore a Few of My Favorite On-line Resources: Internet Archive, JSTOR & HathiTrust

Speaker: Diane L. Richard

Join author, editor, professional researcher and sought-after speaker Diane L. Richard for a look at some of her favorite online resources! With a plethora of online resources, it's often hard to know where to look for material. There are invaluable resources for genealogists not called Ancestry.com or Family Search and that weren't even created by or for genealogists! Many researchers overlook digitized books, journal articles and the like in their quest to learn about their ancestors. This is a mistake! Abstracted and transcribed records fill these volumes. Historical content oozes from these materials. Let's explore some of Diane's favorite places for ferreting out hard-to-access materials that often prove to be a historical gem or nugget of research gold.

All WCGS meetings are free and open to the public. Bring a friend! Social time: 6:30pm; announcements: 6:45pm. Presentation will start at 7pm.
