Welding Thin Gauge Metals

Welding thin metals can be a challenge! Whether you are looking to restore automotive body panels or creating sculptures, this course will teach you tips and tricks for welding thin gauge metals. Heat is the enemy when welding thin metals, causing your work to bend or burn through. This class will teach you how to best control your heat and allows you to practice several welding connections including spot welding, plug welding, and lap welding. You will leave with your sample welded joints and knowledge necessary to start fixing those rusted vehicles sitting in our yard.

Please have taken our Fabrication/Welding Intro first or already have some basic welding experience.
