Krystal Damuse transcends labels and thrives across cultural groups through art and hedonism. In this tour, Krystal and the City Soul Cafe collective invite you to join them behind the curtains of their multicultural space, with the charismatic people that give fuel to Raleigh’s weekly nightlife. This journey will take participants beyond their comfort zones and into the vibrant Art and Community of Glenwood South, exploring the undertones of the Triangle’s emerging progressive arts scene. The tour starts at 8pm in front of Transfer Co. Ballroom where guests are greeted by hostess Krystal and introduced to the City Soul Cafe collective. Visitors have early access in the doors and are encouraged to sign up to perform! Krystal moved to N.C. in 1995 from Brooklyn. What drives her in life is being able to use her energy to connect with others in a way that always leaves people enamored with her presence and the atmosphere around them. She most heavily collaborates with s.P. Endeavors and City Soul Cafe where she, along with Founders Church Da Poet and Dasan Ahanu poetry as a channel to uplift, educate and provide prospective. Krystal has been collaborating with City Soul Cafe as one of the hosts for Wed. nights open mic where talented members of Raleigh’s community come to express themselves through poetry, song and comedy. Pricing starts at $100. Available most Wednesdays. $20 per person for groups up to 20 people.
