Krystal Da Muse transcends labels and thrives across cultural groups through art and hedonism. In this tour, Krystal and collaborators invite you to join them behind the curtains of their multicultural spaces, with the charismatic people that give fuel to Raleigh’s weekly night-life. This journey will take participants beyond their comfort zones and into the vibrant art & performance community of Raleigh, exploring the undertones of the Triangle’s emerging progressive arts scene. The tour starts at 6:30 for City Soul Cafe Open Mic or an hour before other events depending on guest interest and begins with guests being greeted by hostess Krystal and introduced to the culture and background of the event. Visitors have early access to the doors and are encouraged to sign up to perform if able!
Krystal moved to North Carolina in 1995 from Brooklyn. What drives her in life is being able to use her energy to connect with others in a way that always leaves people enamored with her presence and the atmosphere around them. She most heavily collaborates with s.P. Endeavors and City Soul Cafe where she, along with Founders Church Da Poet and Dasan Ahanu, use poetry and performance as a channel to uplift, educate, and provide prospective. Krystal manages and hosts City Soul Cafe Open Mic, Taco Tuesday Jam Session, The Spotlight Talent Show, and other events where talented members of Raleigh’s community come to express themselves through poetry, song, and more.
