This fine, Victorian-style mansion, built from native materials and home to N.C. governors since 1891, was described by F.D.R. as having “the most beautiful governor’s residence interior in America.” Free admission. Tour reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance; tour hours are limited and vary seasonally.

The Executive Mansion and gardens will be open on the following dates and times:
-House tours (30 minutes): Wed. and Thurs. only - 10am, 10:30am, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm.
-Garden tours (one hour), seasonally: Wed. (children only) - 9:30am or 10:30am; Thurs. (adults only) – 9:30am or 10:30am.
