The North Carolina Softball League was organized in 2013 to promote a friendly, competitive and emotionally safe environment for LGBT in the Raleigh and its surrounding areas to participate in the sport of softball. Realizing opportunities exist outside of this league for softball play, the league exists as a special place, affording opportunities to people as a group that aren't available elsewhere. The goal as a league is to promote sportspersonship, tolerance and acceptance of gay and lesbian men and women as well as those in our community who are friendly and supportive of these ideals. Games are played each Sun. at Millbrook Exchange Park from 10am-4pm in spring, summer and fall months.
