About

The Pop-Up Shops at Martin Street is a pop-up retail store program in Downtown Raleigh aimed to support minority- and women-owned businesses. The storefront location is available for pop-up retail tenants looking to share an affordable retail space with other up-and-coming retailers, participate in business counseling, and experience the Downtown Raleigh market.

Current tenants include:

  • Frills Atelier offers vintage jewelry and accessories. Hillary Davis, owner of Frills and a former fashion industry designer and creator, sources vintage jewelry and accessories for resale or reworking— producing a new product through combinations of multiple items or restoring statement pieces to their former glory

  • Aesthetic Appeal Jewelry creates and sells handmade, one-of-a-kind gemstone jewelry.

This program is led by Downtown Raleigh Alliance, Wake Tech Entrepreneurship & Small Business Center, LM Restaurants and Lenovo, and aims to increase the presence, inclusion, and equity of business ownership in Downtown Raleigh.
