Headliners Head to Raleigh
If you’re stuck in traffic on any of Raleigh’s major highways on April 22, that means you’re not
at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek enjoying the live performance of Dave
Matthews Band. As one of Raleigh’s most hailed artists, Dave Matthews in concert performs to
a sold out crowd, every year. With each visit, the event becomes an instilled tradition and more
covetous, yet. Songs from the group’s newest as-of-yet untitled album are expected to be
performed in the company of some 20, 000 fans. In fact, why not just take a mid-week musical
respite and spend it listening to the all-time King of Relaxation, once again, at the Pavilion. On
April 23, Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefer Band will kick off the Summerzcool 2009 Tour and
they are calling all Parrotheads to their paradise. Keith Urban with Sugarland will perform at
the RBC Center on June 19 as part of his Escape Together World Tour. The show will feature
new songs from his new album, Born to Love, which is set to be released in late March. For
tickets, please call 919. Just before the cold of the fall season arrives, Coldplay will wrap up
Raleigh’s summer hitlist, with their Viva La Vida world tour performance on August 6, at Time
Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek.
