This year, let the Lazy Daze festival give a whole new meaning to family arts and crafts. Selected as one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events for August, the 35th Annual Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival has proven to be one of the best family-friendly events in Greater Raleigh and the region.
On August 27th from 9 am to 5 pm, downtown Cary will come alive with arts and crafts vendors, multiple stages of non-stop entertainment, delicious festival food, and civic groups. Entertainers include local high school bands, International Ballet Company, Fire Cracker Jazz Band, and many more.
Even the youngest of children can enjoy Lazy Daze by visiting the Kid’s World section of the event. This interactive area allows children of all ages to create art through hands-on activities and then take it home. The misting tent for cooling off and great food are special perks of Kid’s World.
The Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival is completely free, right down to the parking. For more information about parking, vendors and the artists that will be at the festival, visit the detailed Lazy Daze website.
