April Kicks Off Festival Season

April in Greater Raleigh means the beginning of mostly beautiful weather and a cause for celebration. That’s right; April marks the beginning of what we will call Festival Season! Our calendar of events is packed full of fun festivals, celebrations and fairs for you to enjoy. We’ll highlight just a few.
HerbFest 2010 will be held April 16th to 25th at Festival Park in Wake Forest. This is a healthy lifestyle festival highlighting organic products, foods and herbs, where you can enjoy live entertainment and educational seminars.
April 17th to 18th, the Divan Cultural Center will host the annual Turkish Festival at the N.C. State Fairground Exposition Center in Raleigh. The festival will feature Turkish coffee, tea, entertainers and food such as baklava, manti and Turkish pride.
The N.C. Renaissance Faire will be held in Wake Forest on multiple dates in mid-April. Here, you can take a step back into history and enjoy musicians, jugglers and knight rivalries acted out in several staging areas.
The 12th Annual Triangle Beach Music Festival will be held on April 24th at Bryan Farms in Garner. Kick back and relax to the tunes of Chairmen of the Board, Band of Oz, Spare Change and so much more. This event is always packed so get ready for a great time!
