‘Tis the Season to be jolly!  Whether you’re giving thanks, enjoying amazing home-cooked food with your family and friends or just happy to have an excuse to shop, everyone can find a reason to celebrate during the Holiday season!  This season North Hills is celebrating Christmas 2009 with a line-up of fun and entertaining events for you and the family to enjoy.

This Saturday the 21st, North Hills will begin their festivities with a special Tree Lighting Celebration.  Come out and enjoy the harmonious sounds of Victorian carolers, hop a ride on a train or horse-drawn carriage, visit Santa Claus himself and ice skate on the Commons.  All of these activities are centered around the most magnificent tree in the Triangle!

If you miss Santa Claus on Saturday, do not fret.  Santa Claus is coming back to midtown every Saturday and Sunday in December between 12 and 3 p.m.  Your little ones will enjoy the break while you’re doing all of your holiday shopping!

For something to warm your spirits, enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cider from Starbuck’s in North Hills’ Holiday Hospitality Tents on weekends from Nov. 27 to Dec. 20.

What better way to get your holiday shopping done than while celebrating the season.  If you’re lucky you may even run into Frosty the Snowman or Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
