The downtown streets of Fuquay-Varina will be filled with the aromas of mouthwatering chili on Oct. 30th during the annual Downtown Chili Cook-Off. During this fun, family-friendly event, local cooks will present their very best chili recipes for a spirited competition.
Chili competitors include individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. All awards for best tasting chili are voted on by the public, and all proceeds benefit the revitalization efforts in Historic Downtown Fuquay-Varina.
This event is part of the Day in Downtown Festival, which celebrates Fuquay-Varina and its rich culture. This is a great opportunity to explore a town that is full of hidden gems for visitors… and taste chili until you can’t taste anymore. Your tasting is unlimited for only $5, so you can bring the whole family without breaking the bank.
