Surrounded by trees instead of city buildings, refreshingly distant from the hustle and bustle of city life, the USA Baseball National Training Complex is an ideal place to watch some good baseball.  It’s location in Cary’s Thomas Brooks Park is somewhat hidden through a maze of forest, but once you turn the corner, it is clear that this stadium is spectacular in many ways.

This $11 million facility features four fields maintained to Major League Baseball standards, which host a wide array of training and selection events for not only USA Baseball, but also for visiting baseball games and tournaments as well.

The stadium field itself seats 1,754 people, not including the roughly 250 lawn seats available.  A huge crowd can gather at this field to enjoy an electric game of baseball while enjoying refreshing concessions and clean, well-kept facilities.  What better way to spend a summer afternoon than at one of the best sports venues in Greater Raleigh?
