Foodie Picks for New Year's Eve
Thursday, December 26, 2013, 10am by Tabletop Media Group
Foodies love New Year's Eve. It's a time to celebrate a new beginning along with amazing food and drink. Still don't have plans? Don't worry... I have a few recommendations for ways Foodies can ring in the New Year.
Bida Manda still has a few tickets left for its New Year's Eve Party. Bida Manda will have an open bar, food and live jazz music from 9pm-2am for $100 per person. The best part is that proceeds from your ticket benefit Support Circles for Homeless Families. Email Vansana@bidamanda.com to reserve your tickets today. This is a celebration you don't want to miss!
Dean’s Seafood Grill & Bar, in Cary, is featuring a special New Year’s Eve menu for the New Year. Baked oysters, roast Chilean salmon, bourbon marinated pork tenderloin and dark chocolate cheesecake. Mouth watering yet? Check out the featured menu and make your reservations today!
You can also celebrate the New Year at Irregardless Cafe with a four-course meal and champagne toast. Seating is from 8:30pm-10pm, with dancing along to The Moon & the Stars Jazz Band beginning at 9:30pm. The menu features options for all dietary needs. Welcome in a bright and shiny 2014 with Irregardless Cafe and call for a reservation at 919.833.8898919.833.8898, ext. 0. Reservations are $75 per person.
Dean Ogan has announced that Rocky Top Catering and The Daily Planet Cafe will partner with the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences's Nature Research Center to host a New Year’s Eve gala. Ring in 2014 with a black tie-optional celebration running from 8pm to 2am for $99 per person. Each wing of the museum, including The Daily Planet Café, will have a bevy of culinary artistry, including hors d’oeuvres, local craft beer, dessert, liquors, wines and cocktails, with food stations on each floor.
Of course, you can always choose to dine out at your favorite restaurant and head over to Raleigh's iconic Acorn Drop. The Raleigh Acorn is lowered to ring in the New Year. While the acorn has become synonymous with First Night Raleigh 2014, the festival is much more than the countdown to midnight. Your admission pass grants you access to every performance and every venue throughout the day. That’s nearly 100 performances in more than three dozen locations across downtown Raleigh. What a bargain for just $10!
No matter what you decide, make sure to ring in 2014 the Foodie way!
