We’ve all done it. Every year we make New Year’s resolutions to stay fit, eat well and improve our health. Rising in popularity, the gluten-free diet is said to aide in weight loss and improve intestinal health, and it is a way of life for those who are gluten-intolerant. As many of you switch over or continue your gluten-free lifestyle, we’ve found some great restaurants in Greater Raleigh that are gluten-free friendly.
Bella Monica Flatbread Company of Morrisville has an entire menu of gluten-free options, including delicious soups, pastas, flatbreads and more. Bella Monica makes serving up awesome eats without the gluten a main objective, so you know you’ll always find something you’ll like on the menu.
Spize Café in downtown Raleigh also offers a gluten-free menu including items such as noodle salad, tofu and basil shrimp ricepaper roll. Travel a few roads over and you can find Irregardless Café’s extensive Celiac Dinner Menu Items (those with Celiac disease are gluten-intolerant).
If you love baked goods, then you’re in for a treat. Twin Cakes Bakery and Moonlight Bakery are both completely gluten-free. You can find pretty much any baked good you can imagine in its gluten-free form at one of these artisan bakeries.
