Voted by readers of Carolina Parent Magazine as the “Best Live Entertainment” next to Mudcats baseball, Kazoom Children’s Theater in Raleigh is a favorite of both children and parents. Each month there are new puppets, music and storytelling to entertain and engage the recommended audience of children ages 2 to 7.

June is Little Red Hen month, with a story that features a mamma hen, baby chicks, cows, pigs, a dog and princesses. July features the story of The Three Little Fishies, and August will be for The Green Mermaid show. Each show has different interactive music and games for the children to enjoy and features a special puppet guest. Many kids even enjoy seeing the same show more than once during the month!

Kazoom’s summer show schedule is every Wednesday and Thursday, June 1st through September 1st.  However, if you’ve got a large group of 50 or more, you can book Kazoom for a private event on another day. Birthdays at Kazoom are a blast, mainly because of the special attention your birthday boy or girl will get when they are invited to perform as one of the main characters on stage!

At only $5 per person over the age of 12 months, Kazoom’s puppet storytelling is a real treat for families with younger children. The next time you’re in town, make sure to bring the kids by Kazoom for some of the best live entertainment designed specifically for them.
