Neomonde Cafe & Market Second Year Anniversary
Monday, December 09, 2013, 6pm by Tabletop Media Group
Not only can you eat a fabulous, authentic Lebanese meal at Neomonde Cafe & Market, but you will be overwhelmed by the warm personality and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Neomonde has been operating since 1977 and opened its third restaurant in north Raleigh two years ago. If you’re looking for healthy, wholesome food, Neomonde Cafe & Market is the answer. The Saleh family would love for you to enjoy a meal and join them for a special event at their newest location on Strickland Rd. Help this local restaurant celebrate its second year anniversary on Sat., Dec. 14.
When the Saleh family immigrated to the U.S. in the 1970s to escape civil war and to pursue educational opportunities, they brought with them their passion for bread and, most importantly, their mother's recipes.
With help from an uncle, a converted pizza oven, and space rented from a Raleigh strip mall, the brothers opened Neomonde Baking Company in 1977. They decided to honor their new country by naming the business "New World." Their goal: to make bread just like their mother. During the second year anniversary party at Neomonde Cafe & Market you will have the opportunity to sample their delicious bread along with wine and other traditional Lebanese foods.
As you enjoy sampling and a delicious Lebanese meal at Neomonde, you will be serenaded by live Christmas music by Carpe Diem Saxophone Quartet during lunch and Middle Eastern music by the Arabic Ensemble during dinner.
Feel good while dining out during the second year anniversary party. Neomonde will give five percent of their proceeds that day to Note in the Pocket, a local non-profit organization that provides clothing to needy children and families in Wake County. Plus, you'll also be rewarded. Neomonde will give out a free piece of walnut baklava that day to every customer with their purchase!
You do not want to miss this Foodie event! You will have the opportunity to discover Middle Eastern food and culture. Where else can you be serenaded by traditional Middle Eastern music while enjoying fresh baked pita bread and hummus?
