The Carolina Ballet is one of America’s premier arts organizations, and for good reason.  An evening watching a Carolina Ballet performance is one that you won’t soon forget.  On Sept. 16th, the premiere of Firebird will take place in Fletcher Opera Theater for all to enjoy.

Named after the music by Igor Stravinsky to which this compelling performance is set, Firebird is Artistic Director Robert Weiss’ version of the folktale.  This program features a new ballet from Company Principal Timour Bourtasenkov, Walpurgisnacht.
