Since 1994, thousands of African-American women (and men) have been attending the Women’s Empowerment Expo for a day full of education, entertainment and empowerment.  Created in honor of Women’s History Month, this expo was designed to enhance the lives of African-American women by addressing issues that impact their health, hearts and pocketbooks.

This jam-packed event on March 19th will feature seminars, workshops, demonstrations, sampling and shopping galore.  Women of all ages will flock to the RBC Center to enjoy performances by national recording artists, a spectacular fashion show and celebrity autograph sessions.  The 2011 keynote speaker is comedian, author, and radio show host Steve Harvey, who currently hosts the national syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show.

If you would like to attend the Women’s Empowerment Expo, but don’t want to leave your husband behind, don’t worry.  This year’s expo will feature a men’s lounge, where you can drop them off and let them have at the latest technology, gaming and March Madness monitoring.

Tickets for this invigorating expo are on sale now.  Don’t miss out on one of the most empowering events of the year.
