Wish You Were Here

We've missed sporting events here in Greater Raleigh.

We've missed seeing you catch up with the competitors you haven't been around since last year's tournament. We've missed seeing you checking in and looking for room assignments and field maps and the schedule. We've missed seeing your uniforms and your equipment and buses packed with athletes.

At the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance, we've consider this period of time nothing but a pause. We'll all be back at the regular rhythm of sporting events soon—we're close.

In fact, the four-week visitRaleigh.com Showcase Series just happened last fall at WRAL Soccer Park and fields across the area, and venues such as the Raleigh Convention Center—which just achieved the prestigious Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR™ facility accreditation—plus other facilities have opened. (See the Raleigh Convention Center Re-Opening Guide for Sports here!)

Count on Me NCIn addition, many area restaurants and hotels have been certified through the statewide Count On Me NC program, which teaches hospitality businesses how to ensure the best and safest practices when serving guests. Event service suppliers have also been certified in the program.
