Do Ask, Do Tell

The Triangle HRC is hosting a benefit event at Flex nightclub, 2 S. West St., downtown Raleigh, on Sunday, January 17, from 7-9pm. For the event, themed Do Ask, Do Tell, guests are encouraged to wear military gear. There will be music as well as the movie GI Joe showing in the background; admission is $5.

The Human Rights Campaign, which the admission price benefits, is the largest LGBT advocacy group in the country. Removing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" as a U.S. military policy is one of its priorities.

On Saturday, February 27, the Raleigh Convention Center will play host to the 15th Annual HRC Carolinas Dinner, an annual fund-raising event to benefit the Human Rights Campaign, America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
