The Raleigh Convention Center will host another major event as the All Star Cheer and Dance Challenge takes place Sat. and Sun., Jan. 28-29. Approximately 215 teams are registered to compete, representing six different states. This championship weekend brings 2,000 participants along with 6,000 additional spectators. The event is expected to generate more than 2,000 hotel room-nights and approximately $650,000 in direct visitor spending.
